Well Ellen came back from Ireland Wednesday March 10, and it sounds like she had a great time. According to her, Guinness tastes the same here as it does in Ireland (contrary to popular belief). So come on in, order up a Guinness and find out how much fun the Irish can be.

OK here’s the scoop–it has been too slow on Wednesday nights for the restaurant to afford the luxury of live music. And it has been a luxury indeed. We have been struggling with the concept for several months and it has finally hit us, the reality is folks that it just hasn’t been paying for itself. And I cannot in good conscience put the restaurant at risk by endulging my folly. ( I am particularly fond of live music) Now if you would like to endulge YOUR folly, we can have live music back at the Spice. Sign up for a sponsorship of your favorite musician. the cost is $100 for the evening-Wednesdays only please- you will get a live performance of your chosen musician, 3 places of mention (in The Independent, Lively Times, and KUFM) We will be sure to mention you, or your business during the performance, and hopefully you will promote the show amongst your inner circle or place of business. Here are some reasons why you may want to do this–It would be the best birthday party ever–your sister will be in town and she LOVES John Floridis–Your business needs a little pick me up, and you want to show some special clients that Hamilton ROCKS! Contact me and lets get live music back at the Spice

Currently Artist Steve Slocomb’s work is on display on the south wall of The Spice. His beautiful photagraphy captures glimpses of the Bitterroot Valley that many of us do not ordinarily see. If you are interested in purchasing one of Steve’s works, please contact him for prices. His business cards are in the restaurant, and he is willing to negotiate options to suit you.
Lots of folks ask me about some of the other “art” in the restaurant. The large painting in the display case is a portait of my Great, Great Grand mother, and the child on her lap is my Great Uncle Erwin Suennen. There are several pictures of my grand parents in the restaurant. The dog in the dress is just silly, and is thankfully of no relation to me.
